25th anniversary event. Highlights include previously unseen archive
footage of BR steam and early preservation, the ‘Fifteen Guinea Special’
in 1968 and the ‘Fifteen Guinea Rerun’ in 1993. The rise of the East
Lancashire Railway is covered along with the 25th anniversary gala held at
the railway to mark 25 'steamless' years on BR. Remarkable shed scenes at
Bury include 'LMR' and 'SR' steam ups. A motive power feast includes
